Clint W. Smith
Clint Smith has been practicing law in the East Valley for over 30 years. He has worked with several of the best firms in the area, and has a reputation as a knowledgeable, assertive, honorable attorney. Clint received his Juris Doctor degree from Arizona State University College of Law. He has been named one of Arizona’s Top Lawyers by Arizona Business Magazine. Clint’s practice focuses on business and estate planning. Clint is a pioneer in the use of plain English instead of legal jargon. His clear explanations of legal concepts help his clients quickly understand even complex legal procedures and planning ideas. Clint advocates and champions the use of revocable living trusts to avoid costly and time-consuming probate. He has published a book on the subject, Estate Planning, A Plain English Guide to Wills and Trusts.
Clint and his wife Katherine, a native Phoenician, have five children and eight grandchildren. He enjoys hiking, family history, serving in his church, and being active in the community. He has been on the board for various nonprofits, and enjoys playing guitar, ukulele and occasionally, the trumpet.
