Porter Solomon
The Solomon family has lived in Arizona since the 1870s, with many generations living in the East Valley. Porter was born in Mesa as the fifth of ten children. When he was three years old, his father and oldest siblings completed the construction of the Solomon family home in the small farming community of Queen Creek. He grew up spending most of his time outside with his siblings and cousins running around the cotton and corn fields, milking the family cow, swimming in the irrigation ditches, and building forts in the salt cedar trees lining the Queen Creek wash. He also has fond memories of camping and hunting in the desert and in the pines with his father and siblings, which is an activity he still enjoys today.
After a two-year mission in southern Chile where he learned to read, write, and speak Spanish fluently, he finished a bachelor’s degree in business administration at Arizona State University. He attended law school at Lincoln Memorial University’s Duncan School of Law in Knoxville, Tennessee where he received a juris doctor and master’s degree in public administration. He also received the President Abraham Lincoln Pro Bono Award for working more than 250 pro bono hours while in law school.
Porter is honored to represent his fellow Arizonans in various areas of law. He and his lovely wife Lauren live in the East Valley with their two adorable children, Adaline and Knox.
